Colin Farrell’s Penguin could have looked completely different. Concept art from “The Batman”

After the premiere of the first trailer for Matt Reeves’ Batman, viewers were impressed by the character of Colin Farrell, who as the Penguin does not resemble himself at all. Before the film’s debut, Farrell revealed that in the initial stages of production, it took an average of four hours to apply makeup (including hair, makeup and prosthetics). She also told a story about how he went to Starbucks in makeup and no one recognized him.

However, it turns out that the Penguin from Batman could have looked different. After the film’s premiere, concept art by Adam Brockbank (published in the album The Art of the Batman) appeared online, showing that Farrell could have looked much more like himself. Below are the illustrations:
