The best SEX SCENES ever filmed for a (non porn) movie ranked

Sex is certainly not the easiest topic to show on the big screen, but the filmmakers do not lack visual imagination in this field as well, so there was plenty to choose from, and the fight between the titles was no less fierce than the bed excesses of the actors presented in them. Below we present their absolute top according to our readers. We invite you to read, comment, and watch!
50. Gone Girl (2014)
The sex scene in Gone Girl is certainly one of the most outstanding on this list – it ends not only with the orgasm of the character played by Neil Patrick Harris, but also with his death at the hands of Amy, who thus implements her next cunning plan. Although we expect that something bad may happen, the moment of cutting the throat and the sight of the pouring blood takes us by surprise and gives us a headache.

49. Cruel Intentions (1999)
Dangerous Liaisons in the youth version. For obvious reasons (and even despite the R rating) the creators could not go too far here. Nevertheless, they managed to combine school problems with a sexual desire that goes well beyond the curiosity of adolescence quite neatly. They were helped by a young, beautiful cast and an extremely atmospheric soundtrack. This resulted, among others, in MTV Award for Best Movie Kiss of the Year. This scene sums up the film’s erotic ecstasy well – without crossing the barriers of safe entertainment, it is adequately exciting.
48. Pretty Woman (1990)
Who among us did not root for the dove-hearted prostitute who stole the heart of Richard Gere himself in the classic Pretty Woman. Although this is a Disney work, it manages to include an intense scene between the characters who do it in an abandoned banquet hall on a piano. Of course, how it all ended, only they know, because the camera does not accompany them to the very end. This scene, however, became one of the more iconic and turned out to be so important to Gere that he decided to compose a piano piece especially for this particular fragment. But as they say – who would say no to Julia Roberts dressed in satin?
47. American Psycho (2000)
Apart from how the physical dalliance with Patrick Bateman ends, it must be admitted that the actors … well, they rose to the occasion here. Christian Bale, who looks like a hundred million bucks, is fucking nice harlots – and although he doesn’t even hide the fact that he is the main star of this show, the people behind the camera giving him a lot of and credible room to show off. It must have been hot on set.
46. The Postman Always Rings Twice (1981)
Adaptation of the James M. Cain novel by David Mamet (screenplay) and Bob Rafelson (director). The story of drifter Frank Chambers and his married mistress Cora was already on the screen in 1946 – in the era of stylish film noir and the strict Hays Code. In realizing his version, Bob Rafelson no longer had such limitations. So he could add more sensuality to the relationship between the characters. Although the director, together with the operator Sven Nykvist, decided not to shock the film with nudity, the sex scenes can be controversial. For example, when the characters fake an accident and Frank beats up Cora for effect, after which she gets aroused, so does he and they get close. But the most important for the story is the first erotic scene, which begins with an attempted rape. The woman barely knows the guy so she protests but eventually gives in and even knocks items off the kitchen table herself to make room. This gives the man permission. She knows what she’s doing is wrong, yet she’s willing to risk it for a moment of pleasure.
